Paint your own Christmas Ornament

Start the school holidays well with this great family activity! Both children and adults will enjoy painting their own Otways wildlife Christmas ornament with a wonderful local artist.

Australian made 3mm timber cut outs will be decorated with Melbourne-made acrylic paints and, to give our ornaments a little sparkle, we'll also be using gold leaf. All materials are non-toxic and food safe, so very safe to use for your little ones.

Wrap your finished ornament in beautiful nature-themed wrapping paper, ready to give to your loved ones for Christmas this year. 

This activity will be guided by Karlijn Sas, a visual artist from Apollo Bay specialising in semi-abstract paintings, particularly exploring nature and landscapes through acrylic and gold leaf on board.

Children under 12 require parental supervision during the activity. Parents are welcome to join themselves and create their own ornament, or help their child and create an ornament together!
