Walk with Wildlife Tour Guided by a conservationist, encounter unique wildlife living in a stunning wild environment overlooking the ocean. Learn about the ecology of the spectacular Otways and the research protecting the Great Ocean Road's threatened species. Read more Take a walk on the wild side of the Great Ocean Road. Enjoy a 75-minute guided walk through the magical Otways bushland, where you'll discover lush fern gullies, eucalypt woodlands and spectacular ocean vistas. Your conservationist guide will share with you the secrets of the bush and the plants and animals who call the Otways home. The tour winds along a gentle, 1.4km path suitable for all ages and abilities. Wildlife Wonders directly supports the environment, with 100% of profits invested in vital research and conservation projects to save threatened species. A café and gift shop top off the experience. Please note: while our guides have plenty of knowledge to share with you on any tour, our wildlife tend to be most active in the cooler parts of the day, so booking a morning Walk with Wildlife tour, a Dusk Discovery tour, or visiting on a cooler day will increase your chances of animal sightings. And you can spot them as they emerge for the evening on our Dusk Discovery Wildlife Tours. On this small, intimate, 90-minute tour, your conservationist guide will give you exclusive insights into the lives of some of the more elusive and rarely seen animals who call the Otways home, plus spectacular sunset photo opportunities. The tour winds along a gentle, 1.4km path suitable for all ages and abilities. It is an intimate tour and is recommended for participants aged 10 and up, given the later start time and longer duration of the tour. The Dusk Discovery Tour includes a simple meal accompanied by cool drink, along with a chance to sit back and relax in the Emu Cafe. *(n.b. our kitchen team will need 48 hours to cater for any specific dietary requirements).* This tour runs on a Wednesday and Friday evening, but the start time changes seasonally.
